Privacy policy
This policy describes how Screenshare (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use screenshare.nl and related services, including our subscription checkout (Whop) and the PC scan tool used with a session code.
1. Controller
Data is processed in the context of providing the Screenshare service. Contact for privacy matters: use the same channel as listed on the website or your support e-mail.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: e-mail address, name (if provided), password hash, subscription status and identifiers from our payment provider (Whop).
- Session & scan data: session codes, player names you enter, generated scan reports (JSON) stored for your staff dashboard, timestamps, and optional technical metadata (e.g. system name).
- Usage & technical data: standard server logs (IP, user agent, time), cookies for language preference and login sessions, and security-related events.
3. Purposes & legal bases
We process data to perform our contract with you (account, access to the dashboard, storing scan results you request), for legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the service), and where required to comply with law.
4. Payment (Whop)
Payments and billing are handled by Whop. We receive status updates and customer identifiers necessary to activate your subscription. Whop’s privacy policy applies to payment pages and their processing.
5. Retention
We keep account and session data as long as your account exists and as needed for legal and operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account subject to any obligations we have to retain certain records.
6. Sharing
We use hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to run the service. We do not sell your personal data. Data may be disclosed if required by law or to protect rights and security.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law (e.g. GDPR), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. International transfers
If data is processed outside your country, we ensure appropriate safeguards where required.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date will change accordingly.
